"Missions" are ways of bearing witness to Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God in word and deed. We are the hands, feet, and mouth of the body of Christ.  We seek to be faithfully involved both locally and around the world.  You can find out what we're doing here:

Local Missions       Global Missions

Our STRATEGIES for carrying out missions are to:
  • Identify the needs in our community, nation, and world, and the congregational gifts, abilities, and resources suitable for meeting those needs
  • Interact with missionaries, mission agencies, and ministries for communication, support, accountability, and fellowship
  • Inform the congregation about mission opportunities
  • Equip congregation to engage in missions
  • Encourage and enthuse congregation to engage in missions

    Our RESPONSIBILITIES are:

    • Mission Committee: implements mission strategies beyond our community; approves mission budget, balancing local/global benevolences
    • Board of Deacons: Cares for church members; implements strategies for local missions; engages with church life; recommends benevolence spending for local missions
    • Members: the hands, feet, voice, and body of Christ
